As you move toward God's light expect Him to reveal the "real" you! You cannot move toward God's light without Him revealing who you "really" are. This how you know that you are moving toward His light. Do not think as you move toward His light that you're going to feel good...no, absolutely not! As a matter of fact, this is when you feel your worst. Be prepared for God to show you the "true" you that is, the good, bad and ugly. You cannot move toward God's light and He doesn't expose you because this is where He shows you everything that is displeasing to Him i.e. our cantankerous attitude, anger, pain, unforgiveness, hate, envy, jealousy, fear, doubt, disbelief, self- righteousness, and all the enemies of our soul. Everything that separates us from God must be uncovered and delivered! As you move closer and closer to God's light, it is going to expose you, and it may not feel good or comfortable, but it is necessary because it is a part of taking up your cross and following Christ (Matt 16:24). Having your flesh crucified is painful, so do not expect it to be comfortable! Here's the "Good News" walking towards God's light lets us know that we are His. Whom the Lord loves he chastens (disciplines). Walking toward God's light is an indication that you are giving salvation permission to have its perfect work in you. Salvation is deliverance from everything that is not like God. Continually move toward God's light so that you can say, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Gal. 2:20)."

As I am living life, I am recognizing that salvation is like God's love. It is unconditional. Salvation is not contingent on how we feel. It is at work when we feel good, bad or indifferent as it is a gift from God. When we give God our heart and accept Christ Jesus into our life as our personal Savior, we receive the gift of "salvation." Like everything about God, salvation is intricate. This is why it is a process. Salvation is DELIVERANCE from everything that is NOT like God. So it doesn't just work for us but in us and through us. It is designed to kill the enemies of our soul. Even though salvation can be tedious, arduous and laborious, it produces growth and not any kind of growth but "Spiritual Growth." Without the process of salvation, we will continue to be babes in Christ (1Cor. 3:12 & Hew. 5:12) and NO good for the Master's use. If we allow salvation to continue to have its perfect work in us, we will draw closer to God, we will fulfill the our destiny, our purpose and the call on our life. In a nutshell, salvation is a part of God's plan to get everything that was put in us by the enemy out of us and restore our original purpose and plan in which He called us to the earth realm for...Gen. 1:28.

Father in the name of Jesus Christ; we thank you for allowing us to suffer in our bodies bringing sin to naught. We no longer live according to this earthly life of evil and human desires of wickedness, lust, drunkedness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry, but we want to live according to Your will. Father we refuse to continue in reckless behavior and living and we contend for the faith and live for the gospel of Jesus Christ so that we might be judge rightly by man and You. Father we ask that You continually keep our minds sober so that we can pray, love each other deeply, and to be hospitable to one another. Most of all, Father continue teach us how to serve others as faithful stewards of Your grace, speaking Your truth in Your strength and giving You all the praise through Jesus Christ, Amen and thank God.
