Don't ask for or expect something from a person that you are not willing to allow them to be (i.e. you want your wife to be wifey but you are not willing to stop cheating on her). You are not allowing her to be a wife because you have taken that position away from her because you refuse to be a faithful husband and vice versa women - you are not allowing him to be a husband if you want respect him.
