The word of God says, that My sheep knows my voice (John 10:27). Although God speaks, He does not speak to everyone the same way. God's has His own unique way of communicating with those He love especially if you have cultivated a relationship with Him. It will become your love language with the Creator. The way in which Abba Father talks or communicates with me is through music (spiritual or secular). When He speaks to me through the music, I hear Him loud and clear, and He speaks directly to my soul and spirit.
This week the Father let me know through a song "Can't Stop by After Seven" that He can't stop how He feels about me. The next day He said through Martha Munizzi that He is here to heal and bless me, and today He told me by way of Mariah Carey that there is a Hero inside of me. For the past three days, I got up with these songs playing over and over in my spirit and after listening to them, I cried because only Abba Father knows exactly what's in my heart and what I need to hear from Him.
I believe this kind of communication is not only established through relationship but intimacy (close familiarity or friendship; closeness). It is through intimacy that God the Father communicates His heart about you and how deeply He cares about you. It is through building a rapport that the Father will begin to establish direct and personal communication with you. It is Him loving on you because you have spent time cultivating a relationship of intimacy, which opens the door to God wanting to talk to you and love on you at the same time.
In my case God uses music to communicate a message to me and His heart concerning me. The Father uses this method as a way communicating with me because I do not listen to music very often so He knows that I will recognize immediately that it is His voice...His love language for me.
If you don't have a personal love language with the Father, I come like Paul and say, I "beseech" (urge) you brothers and sisters to establish an intimate relationship with the Father, so that He can directly commune with you in ways you cannot image. The Father truly has something He wants to say personally to you...intimacy with the Father will impact and change your life forever!!!
YES MINISTER, I KNOW THIS IS TRUE AND HE WILL USE WHATEVER IS NECESSARY TO SPEAK TO US SO WE WILL HEAR AND UNDERSTAND. I REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME THE LORD MINISTERED TO ME THROUGH A SECULAR SONG, I KNEW WITHOUT A DOUBT IT WAS GOD. THE SONG WAS FROM MY EARLY TEEN YEARS AND I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN THAT SONG BUT I LOVED IT, IT WAS A FAVORITE LOVE SONG OF MINE AT THE TIME AND HE USED IT TO TELL ME HOW MUCH HE LOVED ME, BECAUSE I NEEDED HIM TO SPEAK TO ME BECAUSE OF THE PLACE I WAS IN AND WONDERING IF THE FATHER TRULY LOVED ME. THE TITLE OF THE SONG IS "I'M JUST AN AVERAGE GUY." IT WAS PLAYING IN MY SPIRIT AS I WAS WAKING UP AND ALL I COULD DO WAS CRY AND PRAISE HIS NAME. OUR FATHER IS AWESOME AND THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM. AMEN
